Once you have installed the WordPress application, you are ready to install the WordPress theme. There
is no cost to install or use the WordPress theme that we will use. Keep in mind that there are plenty of pay-to-use
premium WordPress themes, but you will find that many of the free ones will do the job just fine. As an example,
the free theme that we use in this course is one of the best responsive themes (meaning it adapts
to any device it is displayed on) available for WordPress.

The Vantage theme we will use from SiteOrigin is by far
one of the most flexible WordPress themes available. Though they have a premium version with lots of
extra bells and whistles, we will be using the free version for our purposes. Vantage can easily be
upgraded to the premium version at any time. The link below is a zip file which contains the free WordPress
Vantage theme. When you click on the link it will download to your local computer to the Downloads folder
of your choice. Click on the link below. |

| Once you have downloaded the theme, you are ready to install it in your WordPress. At this point you will log in to your WordPress admin, then follow the directions found in our WordPress Theme Installation Video Tutorial. |
