WebYoda Certified Webmaster (WCW)
Exam History
The WebYoda certifications were the first nationally recognized Webmaster certifications available. In October 1997
WebYoda, in partnership with Florida State University, began developing the first national Webmaster Certification
Standard. The first WebYoda certification was awarded
March 09, 1998. To date
WebYoda has awarded over 5000 certifications.
WCW Certification Overview
The WebYoda Certified Webmaster
tm (WCW)
tm certification is our
level 2 certification, which covers our second set of four core webmaster courses.
The WCW certification is designed to improve a candidate's proficiency in a broad
range of Internet-related subjects. This certification provides a solid foundation
of skills needed to acquire a mid-level webmaster position or to building a web
development business from the ground up. The WCW certification exam cannot be
attempted without first passing the
WAW certification exam.
This exam is 64 questions, and students have 90 minutes to complete the exam, which is timed by our server.
Candidates must score 70% or higher to pass this exam and be awarded the WCW certification.
WCW Courses:
These courses directly prepare students to pass the WCW exam.
Taking the Exam:
This is a non-proctored exam which can be attempted at any time online at
WOWacademy.com.
Exam Cost:
The cost of this exam is $50 for students taking WOW Academy courses and
$100 for those students not needing to take WOW Academy courses.
